What You Need To Know
- Rider will face the winner of Thursday's 5 p.m. MAAC Championship First Round game between #8 Monmouth and #9 Saint Peter's.
- The Broncs earned a share of the MAAC Regular Season Championship and the top seed in the tournament by winning 11 of their final 12 games. It is Rider's fourth share of a MAAC title (2001-02, 2004-05, 2007-08) and just the second time the Broncs took the No. 1 seed (2001-02).
- Rider had a league-high four players selected to the All-MAAC Teams, including Dimencio Vaughn (1st Team), Stevie Jordan (2nd Team), Frederick Scott (3rd Team) and Jordan Allen (3rd Team, All-Rookie Team).
- Vaughn is the Broncs' first All-MAAC First Team honoree since Matt Lopez in 2014-15 and just the second to earn the honor under Kevin Baggett.
- Rider's 15-3 record and .833 winning percentage are the Broncs' highest marks in 21 years in the MAAC. The 15 wins tie the 2014-15 team (15-5) for the most wins by a Rider team in MAAC play.
- Rider shot a season-high 61.4 percent on Feb. 25 against Iona.
- Rider has won 20 games for just the 10th time in the 90-year history of the program. The team record is 23 wins (2007-08, 2010-11).
- Rider is currently No. 64 in the RPI (as of 2/27). Its highest ranking was No. 62.
- Rider has won seven games this season when trailing in the final four minutes. The Broncs have also broken a tie in the final minute to win three times.
- Sixth-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 107-87 record and reached the MAAC Quarterfinals in each of his first five seasons. Baggett was the 2015 MAAC Coach of the Year.
