What You Need To Know
- Rider and Siena are meeting for the only time this regular season, with the Saints in control of the all-time series, 31-16. The two teams split last season, with each team winning on its home court.
- Rider has won a season-high eight-straight games, its first streak of as many games since the Broncs won 10 straight in 2007-08.
- RU has clinched at least the No. 4 seed in the MAAC Tournament.
- Rider's 12-2 mark is its best 14-game start in 21 years in the MAAC, eclipsing the 2007-08 squad's 11-3 mark.
- The Broncs' next win would give them 20 wins in a season for just the 10th time in the 90-year history of the program.
- Rider is currently No. 68 in the RPI (as of Feb. 13). Its highest ranking of the year, No. 62, came as recently as Feb. 9.
- The Broncs overcame a 21-point deficit at Marist with 10:20 remaining, outscoring the Red Foxes, 28-4, to close out the victory.
- Rider has won seven games this season when trailing in the final four minutes. The Broncs have also broken a tie in the final minute to win three times.
- Siena won its last game, 82-78, in overtime against Iona.
- Siena's top scorers (Nico Clareth, transfer; Roman Penn, injury) are both done for the year. Prince Oduro (9.1 ppg., 5.0 rpg.), Ahsante Shivers (8.9 ppg., 4.1 rpg.), Khalil Richard (8.8 ppg.) and Evan Fisher (7.7 ppg., 4.9 rpg.) have contributed.
- Sixth-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 104-86 record and reached the MAAC Quarterfinals in each of his first five seasons. Baggett was the 2015 MAAC Coach of the Year.
