What You Need To Know
- Rider and Hofstra are meeting for the 39th time, with the Pride owning a 20-18 lead in the all-time series. Hofstra has won the last four in 1991-92, 2009-10, 2010-11 and 2017-18.
- Rider had won two straight, against Coppin State at home on Nov. 19 and at Wagner on Nov. 24, before a Nov. 28 setback at West Virginia.
- Hofstra has played more than twice as many contests as Rider thus far, posting a 6-3 record, including three-straight wins over Siena, Kennesaw State and Monmouth.
- The Pride is led by 2018 CAA Player of the Year Justin-Wright Foreman at 27.2 points per game. He's also dished out a team-best 4.2 assists per game. Eli Pemberton has also been highly effective at 16.8 points per game.
- Rider had five players in double figures at West Virginia, led by
Frederick Scott's 17 points.

Dimencio Vaughn was named MAAC Player of the Week on Nov. 26 after averaging 19.0 points per game in a pair of victories over Coppin State and Wagner.

Jordan Allen buried six three pointers and scored a team-high 24 points in the Broncs' 89-65 road win at Wagner.
Stevie Jordan also dished out 10 assists, his fifth-career game with double-digit dimes.
- Rider was picked to win the MAAC after winning the 2017-18 MAAC Regular Season Championship.
- The Broncs returned all five starters, their top six scorers and 95 percent of their scoring from last year's team.
- Jordan ranks 9th in program history with 367 assists, more than halfway to Deon Hames' program record of 598.
- Rider won 20 games for just the 10th time in the 90-year history of the program last year. The team record is 23 wins (2007-08, 2010-11).
- Seventh-year Head Coach
Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 109-91 record. Baggett won MAAC Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2018.
