What You Need To Know
- The Broncs and Knights are meeting for just the second time and the first since December 17, 1986.
- Rider was picked to win the MAAC after winning the 2017-18 MAAC Regular Season Championship.
- The Athletic ranked UCF as the No. 42 team in the country to enter the season, while Rider is slotted at No. 58.
- The Broncs return all five starters, their top six scorers and 95 percent of their scoring from last year's team.
- UCF nearly won 20 games despite battling through 16-game injury absences to B.J. Taylor and Tacko Fall in 2017-18. Both return this year.

Stevie Jordan,
Frederick Scott and
Jordan Allen were all recognized on the Preseason All-MAAC Teams. Vaughn and Jordan were picked to the First Team, Scott to the Second and Allen to the Third.Â
- Through two years, Jordan ranks 10th in program history with 343 assists, more than halfway to Deon Hames' program record of 598.
- Scott earned 2018 MAAC 6th Player of the Year, while Head Coach
Kevin Baggett earned MAAC Coach of the Year.
- Vaughn was the Broncs' top scorer (16.1 ppg.) and rebounder (6.7 rpg.) a year ago, returning for his redshirt freshman season after seeing his true freshman year of 2016-17 cut short due to a torn ACL in the ninth game of the season.
- Allen hit 92 three-point field goals in his first year of action last year. The 92 trifectas rank third in program single-season history.
- The Broncs also add a pair of eligible, seasoned Division I transfers in
Ahmad Gilbert (Minnesota) and
Kimar Williams (FIU).
- Rider won 20 games for just the 10th time in the 90-year history of the program last year. The team record is 23 wins (2007-08, 2010-11).
- Sixth-year Head Coach
Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 107-89 record. Baggett won MAAC Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2018.
