What You Need To Know
- The Broncs and Eagles are meeting for just the second time in the two programs' histories. Rider defeated Coppin State, 66-47, on Dec. 21, 2002 at Alumni Gym.
- Rider will have had 12 days off following their season-opening 84-70 loss at UCF on Nov. 6.

Dimencio Vaughn scored a team-high 14 points in just 17 minutes before fouling out at UCF.
Tyere Marshall and
Frederick Scott added 11 points each.
- Coppin State has fallen in four-straight, all on the road, to open the season. The Eagles have been defeated by Wisconsin, Dayton, Navy and #4 Virginia. None of the games have been decided by fewer than 19 points. Â
- Rider was picked to win the MAAC after winning the 2017-18 MAAC Regular Season Championship.
- The Broncs returned all five starters, their top six scorers and 95 percent of their scoring from last year's team.

Frederick Scott and
Jordan Allen were all recognized on the Preseason All-MAAC Teams. Vaughn and Jordan were picked to the First Team, Scott to the Second and Allen to the Third.Â
- Jordan ranks 10th in program history with 347 assists, more than halfway to Deon Hames' program record of 598.
- Scott earned 2018 MAAC 6th Player of the Year, while Head Coach
Kevin Baggett earned MAAC Coach of the Year.
- A pair of Division I transfers -
Ahmad Gilbert (Minnesota) and
Kimar Williams (FIU) - as well as freshman
Ajiri Ogemuno-Johnson saw their first action in a Rider uniform on Nov. 6 at UCF.
- Rider won 20 games for just the 10th time in the 90-year history of the program last year. The team record is 23 wins (2007-08, 2010-11).
- Seventh-year Head Coach
Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 107-90 record. Baggett won MAAC Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2018.
