WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Rider home basketball games will not be broadcast on the radio this season. Once the regular season begins, all home games will air on ESPN3 and ESPN+. Thursday's exhibition will not be streamed, but you can follow along with live stats.

- With the start of the regular season less than one week away, the Rider University women's basketball team will host neighboring TCNJ in an exhibition game on Thursday, November 1, at 7:00 pm inside Alumni Gymnasium. The contest will be the final tune up for the Broncs before they open the season on November 6 at home against Princeton.

- The Broncs and Lions will meet in an exhibition game in Lawrenceville for the third year in a row.

- Coming off another trip to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Tournament Semifinals, the Rider University women's basketball team is looking to make an impact and take the next step forward in the MAAC in 2018-19.

- The Broncs were picked to finish fourth in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll as announced by the league office on October 23. Rider earned 85 points in the poll.

- Junior guard Stella Johnson was named to the Preseason All-MAAC First Team, while senior point guard Lexi Posset landed on the Preseason All-MAAC Third Team. Rider was one of three schools in the MAAC to have two or more players garner preseason distinction.

- The Broncs return four starters from last season's team led by Posset and Johnson.

- The captains for this year's team are Posset, Johnson and junior Lexi Stover.

- Four Broncs will be making their debut at home for Rider. They are graduate transfer Mia Farmer, freshman guard Amanda Mobley, redshirt junior Amari Johnson and freshman forward Teresa Wolak. After sitting out last season due to the NCAA transfer rules, Amari is looking to jump into the starting lineup and make an impact in 2018-19.

- This will be the third public exhibition game on campus since the 2011-12 campaign.

- Posset started all 30 games in which she appeared at point guard for the team and set new career-highs in points per game (9.8), minutes per game (34.6), free-throw percentage (.805), rebounds per game (4.6) and assists per game (3.3) last season. She has scored 646 points in her career thus far. Posset scored in double figures 13 times last season and was once named the College Sports Madness MAAC Player of the Week.

- Stella Johnson started all 31 games for the Broncs as a sophomore and she averaged a team-high 16.0 points per game. Johnson earned Second Team All-MAAC honors in 2017-18 and she was also named to the 2018 MAAC All-Championship Team at the MAAC Tournament. Stella had a team-high five double-doubles and she ranked second in the MAAC with 2.45 steals per game last winter. She ended her season on a high note last year by scoring 20 or more points in four of Rider's last six contests. Stella also shot a team-best 40 percent (40-of-100) from three-point range.

- Lexi Stover enjoyed a strong comeback season last winter after missing much of the 2016-17 campaign to an injury. Stover started 15 games last season and averaged a career-best 5.8 points per game. Stover's was the team's most dangerous weapon behind the arc as she jarred a team-high 41 treys. She hit four or more three-pointers in a game twice last year for Rider.
