What You Need To Know
- Rider and Marist are meeting for the 57th time with RU owning a 32-24 lead in the all-time series. Rider has won eight of 10 meetings with Marist under Head Coach Kevin Baggett, including a 2016-17 season sweep.
- Dimencio Vaughn scored a career-high 34 points on 13-of-18 shooting, including 5-of-6 from long range on Jan. 18 at Saint Peter's.
- Rider has shot 50 percent or better in four of seven MAAC contests this season, including a season-high 54.5 percent (30-55) at Saint Peter's. The Peacocks entered the game leading the MAAC in scoring defense (67.5 ppg.), field-goal percentage defense (.420) and three-point field-goal percentage defense (.315).   
- Anthony Durham has stepped up of late, hitting 24 of his last 30 attempts from inside the three-point arc. He also dished out a career-high seven assists vs. QU.
- Frederick Scott was named to the Lou Henson Award mid-season Watch List. The award is presented to the nation's top Division I mid-major player.
- Stevie Jordan has been solid all-around (13.6 ppg, 6.5 apg, 4.3 rpg and 1.9 spg). 
- Though 2-4 in MAAC play, five of Marist's six league games have been decided by six points or less, including three overtime contests.
- Brian Parker paces the Red Foxes at 18.3 points and 2.6 assists per game, but missed Thursday's game due to a sprained ankle. David Knudsen (12.2 ppg.) and Ryan Funk (10.5 ppg.) also average in double figures, while Isaiah Lamb (9.3 ppg.) isn't far off. Tobias Sjoberg is Marist's top rebounder at 5.3 rpg.
- Sixth-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 97-86 record and reached the MAAC Quarterfinals in each of his first five seasons. Baggett was the 2015 MAAC Coach of the Year.
