Broncs Host Gaels in MAAC Play on Wednesday Evening

What You Need To Know
- Rider enters the match on a three-game MAAC losing streak. All three matches have gone four sets. At home, Rider is 2-1 this season and the squad is 3-1 in the Garden State.
- Iona has won three MAAC matches in a row with the last two coming via shutout. Last time out, the Gaels fell on the road to NJIT in non-conference action.
- Emma Aldaya became the program's all-time leader in digs on Sunday against Quinnipiac. She raced past the old record of 1,830 career digs. She currently has 1,848 digs and is on pace to become the first Rider player with 2,000 in her career. This season, she leads the team with 225 digs and 4.17 digs per set.
- Veronica Koval has once been named the MAAC Player of the Week this season. The senior setter has 468 assists this season and is averaging 8.67 assists per set. She is also second on the team with 135 digs. Koval has recorded a team-best six double-doubles, including two in conference play. Koval has recorded at least 25 assists in 12 of the team's 15 matches this fall and topped 40 assists three times.
- Hailey Riede leads the team with 153 kills. She is the only Bronc in triple digits for kills this season. Riede has reached double-digits in kills in a match eight times this fall, including seven matches in a row. In conference play, she is averaging over 13 kills per match.
- Last time out, freshman Meredith Pellegrino registered a career-high 15 kills versus Quinnipiac. Pellegrino recorded 11 or more kills for the second time in her young career. Both instances have come in MAAC play. She also had a season-high seven digs against the Bobcats.
