What You Need To Know
- Canisius enters the weekend in the midst of a six-game losing streak. The Broncs swept the season series with the Griffs in 2016, winning 3-0 on the road and 3-1 in the Garden State. Canisius leads the all-time series, 25-8, but the Broncs have won five of the last six meetings dating back to the 2014 campaign.
- Niagara starts the weekend of league play in the midst of a three-game winning streak. The Broncs and Purple Eagles have split their two matches in each of the past two seasons. Dating back to 2014, Rider is 4-2 against the Purple Eagles. Niagara leads the all-time series, 20-12.

Veronica Koval was named the MAAC Player of the Week on Tuesday afternoon. She became the first Bronc to earn league-wide distinction this season and she picked up weekly accolades for the first time in her career. Last week, she averaged 9.79 assists per set and recorded a pair of double-doubles as Rider went 2-2 at the 12th Annual Friar Classic hosted by Providence College.
