- The Rider University volleyball team hosts Saint Francis (Brooklyn) on Wednesday, August 30, at 7:00 pm inside Alumni Gym. The Broncs open their home slate against the Terriers for the second straight season. In last year's match, Rider defeated SFBK, 3-1, behind 10 kills apiece from

Emma Aldaya averaged over four digs per set for the Broncs last week. She recorded 18 or more digs in a pair of matches last week. She opened the season with 18 digs in a five-set come-from-behind win. In her second appearance of the year, Aldaya racked up 20 digs in a three-set contest against Gardner-Webb. Aldaya leads the team with 44 digs this season. She has accounted for 32 percent of the team's digs. For her career, she has 1,667 digs which ranks second in program history.

Hailey Riede leads the team with 27 kills (2.45 per set).

Jennifer Borio is second on the squad with 24 kills, thanks to recording 16 in a season-opening win against Sacred Heart.

Perry Williams has a team-best 10 total blocks this season and has added 15 kills.

Veronica Koval has 82 assists through three matches this year. In the season opener, she became the fifth player in program history to record 2,000 career assists.
