Quotes & Notes
"We did struggle in that first half. We gave them two goals. They were definitely errors. Forced errors by their pressing, but they were errors from our end. We scored a good goal, which was nice. I thought we looked dangerous when we attacked. We just turned the ball over a little bit too much and couldn't take advantage of the space that was there."
"In the second half, I thought we competed and battled really hard and showed good character, which is obviously at the end of the day the most important thing. If it hadn't been for a really good tackle at the last few seconds, I think Ellie would've equalized and made the crowd go crazy."
– Rider Head Coach Drayson Hounsome
- The Broncs are now an even 3-3 in their last six season openers and an even 4-4-2 in home openers under Hounsome.
- Two goalkeepers shared duties in net, with Kozlowski playing for the first time since 2015 and
Carmen Carbonell (Valencia, Spain/Guadalaviar School) making her collegiate debut. The duo take the spot vacated by matriculated four-year starter and current pro
Bethany-May Howard.
Broncs By The Numbers
