What You Need To Know
- Rider and Hampton have met just once in the two programs' histories. Current Broncs Athletic Director Don Harnum coached Rider to a 75-64 victory on Dec. 30, 1998, in the consolation game of the Dr. Pepper Classic, hosted by Chattanooga.

- Rider returns four players who started at least seven games in 2015-16 - Kahlil Thomas (32), Jimmie Taylor (29), Xavier Lundy (18) and Kealen Washington-Ives (7).

- The Broncs are led by fifth-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett, whose teams have posted a 67-64 record and reached the MAAC Quarterfinals in each of his four seasons in Lawrenceville.

- Senior forward Kahlil Thomas led the MAAC in field-goal percentage last season, both overall (.565) and in league play (.600). Senior forward Xavier Lundy was also sixth in the league overall (.498) and 13th in league play (.484).

- Rider was second in the MAAC in both scoring defense (67.4 ppg.) and field-goal percentage defense (.412) last season, while limiting opponents' second-chance opportunities, allowing only 35.5 rebounds per game to the opposition.

- The Broncs will look to replace top scorer and distributor Teddy Okereafor (12.1 ppg., 4.5 apg.). Okereafor also played a team-high 35.4 minutes per game in 2015-16.

- The Broncs were picked to finish seventh in the MAAC by the league's coaches. Kahlil Thomas was selected to the Preseason All-MAAC Second Team.
