LAWRENCEVILLE—Looking to snap a three-match losing streak, the Rider University volleyball team returns to action at noon in Alumni Gymnasium on Saturday as the Broncs host Saint Peter's University in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference match.

The Broncs enter play 14-13, 9-4 in the MAAC and look to pick up their 10th conference win for the second season in a row.

Rider traveled to Jersey City on September 16 and defeated the Peacocks 3-0 (28-26, 25-21, 25-22) behind 12 kills each from freshman Hailey Riede and junior Ryan Ackermann.

Riede, a MAAC Rookie of the Year candidate, leads Rider with 2.53 kills per set and has played all 109 sets this season and Ackermann is second on the squad with 2.39 kills per set.

Sophomore Emma Aldaya is fifth nationally in digs with 525 and junior Kaitlyn Griffin continues to be among the national leaders (21st) in blocks (109).

Rider leads the nation with 1,903 digs.

Rider swept the season series from Saint Peter's last season, winning 3-0 in Lawrenceville and 3-2 in Jersey City.  In 2013, the Broncs won twice, both by 3-1 scores.  Rider leads the all-time series 24-20 and the Broncs have won 11 matches in a row over the Peacocks.

After Saturday, Rider's final two home matches will be November 7 against Quinnipiac at noon and against Fairfield November 8 at 1pm when the Broncs will celebrate senior day.

Rider enters play 5-1 in Alumni Gym this season and has won 14 of its last 18 matches in the Broncs' Zoo.

If you can't make the match, every home volleyball match can be seen on BroncVision and MAAC.TV as part of Rider's pay per view service powered by GoBroncs.com.  The match (video only) will be streamed live in high definition.

GameViewer (LiveStats) will also be available, free of charge via the link on GoBroncs.com and live tweets will be sent out which you can follow via twitter @RiderAthletics.
