Sacramento Kings Forward Jason Thompson became the newest member of the News10 Sports Team when he anchored his first sportscast on News10 at 6 Wednesday night. 

Thompson, who majored in broadcasting while at Rider University, was a guest sportscaster Wednesday, helping write, edit and produce the entire 6 p.m. sports. 

News10 and the Kings announced last month the two will join forces once again as broadcast partners. News10 will carry 10 select Kings games this season, beginning with the home game Sunday, Nov. 18 against the Brooklyn Nets at 3 p.m. 

The game broadcast will be preceded by a special edition of the Toyota Sports Extra, live from Sleep Train Arena beginning at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
