Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Match
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.--The Rider University women's tennis team was swept in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference match Thursday afternoon.
For Rider, sophomore Michelle Caravaglio (Manalapan/Freehold) won five games at number two singles before losing 6-2, 6-3.
"We just ran into a more experienced team," said head coach Ed Torres. "When we did stay in rallies, we made too many unforced errors."
Both the Rider men's and women's tennis teams travel to Mount St. Mary's Sunday for a non-conference match.
