Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Match
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.-The Rider University women's tennis team lost a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference match at Marist Wednesday afternoon.
For the Broncs, sophomore Marly Roche (Sussex/High Point Regional) won four games at number one singles before losing 6-2, 6-2.
"Marist is probably the best team in the conference," said head coach Ed Torres. "We were beat by a more experienced team. We did as well as we could."
The match was originally scheduled for Monday and was rained out.
Both the Rider men's and women's teams host Wagner Thursday at 2pm.
