Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Match

LAWRENCEVILLE--The Rider University women's tennis team lost a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference match to defending conference champion Fairfield Monday afternoon.

"We were outclassed by a stronger and more experienced team," said head coach Ed Torres.  "Fairfield is the defending conference champion, they are in first place this season and they should win the title again, based on how they played today.  They keep the ball alive, make less errors and volleyed better than we did."

The Bronc women host Philadelphia U. on Friday in the final match of the spring season.
