Barry Davis Inducted to GCC Hall of Fame
Rider University head baseball coach Barry Davis was inducted into the Gloucester County College Hall of Fame on September 24.
Davis was one of 11 new members, the first induction class since 1992, joining the 34 previous members.
While at GCC Davis led the Roadrunners to their first two National Championships ever in 1992 and 1993 and followed up with two more National Titles in 1999 & 2000. He was a four-time NJCAA Division III National Coach of the Year at Gloucester, where he won eight Regional Championships in addition to his four National Championships.
Davis' 11-year record at GCC was 434-80.
Now in his seventh season at Rider, Coach Davis has won two Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships, advancing to a pair of NCAA Tournaments.
In 2009 his Broncs won a Rider-record 36 games.
Davis owns a career college coaching record of 728-330, including 157 wins at Rider.
