STATE COLLEGE, PA-The Broncs took a skeleton crew to Penn State Sunday for the Nittany Lion Open. "We sent a handful of guys out there to get some experience," said Rider head coach Gary Taylor. "That's what they need to do."

Freshman 157 Joe Benedetti (Hamilton, N.J./Steinert) lost 10-2 to Jeffrey Brigham of Edinboro in the pigtails.
Wrestling unattached, freshman 141 Nick Papa (Edgemont, Pa./Penncrest) lost 9-4 to Dan Manley of Hofstra in the pigtails.
Freshman 184 Clint Morrison (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cedar Cliff) lost in the pigtails to Antonio Giorgio of North Carolina 6-2.
"We still have some wrestlers banged up so we kept them home to get healthy for the dual meets," Taylor said.
Rider hosts Army Friday. "Army has a nice team," Taylor said. "They are going to be good and it will take a hard effort on our part to beat them. We'll need our 10 starters to do that."
