Homero Pardi

Homero Pardi begins his second season as an assistant for Rider University Field Hockey head coach Lori Hussong in the Fall of 2013.

In 2012, Rider (15-6) won its fourth NEC Regular Season Title in a row and its third NEC Championship, advancing to the NCAA Play-In game at Massachusetts where the Broncs lost in overtime 2-1.

Pardi comes to Rider from Princeton University where he assisted the Tigers from 2008-2011.

At Princeton, Pardi was the goalkeeper coach as the Tigers advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals in 2010.

In 2009, Princeton was ranked fourth in the nation and advanced to the NCAA Final Four.

In 2008, the Tigers were ranked fifth in the nation and compiled a 17-3 overall record.

Pardi's other duties for Princeton included video and scouting analysis of opponents, practice planning and the breakdown of video footage.

Prior to coming to Princeton, Pardi was an assistant at Georgetown from 2003-2007 and Kent State from 2002-2003.

Pardi also spend 2000-2002 as an assistant with the Venezuelan National Team (Caracas) where he organized practices, planned and organized international travel, aided in the team selection process and helped game plan against opponents.

From 2001-2003, Pardi was the director of the Venezuelan Indoor/Outdoor Hockey League.

Pardi was head coach of the British School of Caracas from 1998 to 2002 and guided the Venezuelan men's and women's national indoor field hockey teams in 2002.

A member of several Venezuelan national teams, Pardi was on the Indoor Pan American Cup team in 2002 and played in the America's Cup in 2000. He participated in the Junior Pan American Championship in 1996 and 2000 and played in the Pan American Clubs Championship from 1999 to 2001. Pardi also participated in the Central American and Caribbean Games, where he helped his team finish fourth overall. In May 2004, Pardi played in the Pan American Cup in Canada.

Since 2003, Pardi has been the director of Champion's Edge Field Hockey, designing curriculum for camps and clinics, managing schedules and developing initiation programs for players ages 8-12.

Pardi has an Associate Degree in Education from Mercer County Community College and is pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Spanish with a Psychology minor from Rider.
