Following a season-opening 1-0 loss at Seton Hall on Aug. 24, Salama led the Broncs to an eight-game unbeaten streak thereafter, with Rider posting a 5-0-3 record in that time. For the nine-game stretch, Salama posted a 0.56 goals-against average and an .844 saves percentage with clean sheets in wins over Saint Joseph’s, Siena and Fairfield and a scoreless draw against Penn. He made a season-high six stops to shut out the Stags on Sept. 24.
