Volpe hit .373 (19-for-51) with 10 runs scored, 10 RBI’s, five doubles and four stolen bases in 12 games as the Broncs marched to their second MAAC title in the last three years. Included in his production was a 7-for-17 (.412) performance with three multi-hit games, reaching base at least twice in all four games at the MAAC Championships to earn All-Tournament Team. He contributed six RBI’s and three runs scored for the tournament, driving in four and scoring a run in the tournament-clinching win over Fairfield.
