Burgess won three gold medals at MAAC Championships, leading the men’s team to its first MAAC Outdoor Championship since 2013. Burgess won the 100, 200 and was part of the winning 4x100 relay team. He also went on to earn All-East honors by finishing fourth (21.14) in the 200 at IC4A Championships. He finished the 200 in a career-best 20.97 to win gold at MAAC Championships.
