Schein-Becker became ECAC Indoor Champion in the mile, breaking her own program record in a time of 4:42.90. She added a second All-East honor with teammates Mackenzie Greenfield, Dyani Bigelow and Lydia Wallace in the DMR, finishing third (11:38.08). Schein-Becker then opened the outdoor season by  winning the 800 meters at the Rider 5-Way by over 14 seconds with her time of 2:10.06. Her time ranked second all-time in program history, less than a second off the program mark set by Kristin Siegle last season. It was also an ECAC qualifying mark and the top time in the MAAC by over 11 seconds. A week later, she won the 1,500-meters at the prestigious Colonial Relays in 4:24.23 by over five seconds. Her run was the top time in the MAAC this season by over two seconds. It is an ECAC qualifier and also the 45th ranked time in the NCAA East Preliminary List, with the top 48 making the NCAA First Round. It is also the number two time in Rider history behind only Siegle's record from a season ago. Schein-Becker also anchored the winning 4x1500-meter relay to a new Rider record by over 32 seconds. She made up 80 meters on the first place team on the anchor leg and split 4:21. For her efforts at both the Rider 5 Way and the Colonial Relays, she earned MAAC Track Performer of the Week in consecutive weeks.
