Schein-Becker broke program records in the 800 meters and mile in January. She ran the mile in 4:36.65 at the Boston University John Thomas Terrier Classic on Jan. 28. The time is the second-best all-time in the MAAC, ranks 21^st in the nation this year, fourth in the ECAC and is first in the MAAC by 18 seconds. At the same meet, she contributed to a record-breaking DMR (11:37.57). At the Spartan Invitational on Jan. 13, Schein-Becker ran the 800 in 2:10.63, also breaking the Rider record.
