Perales’ 10 goals for the end of August and duration of September ranked fifth in the nation and her 1.11 goals per game ranked second among NCAA Division I scorers. Included in the production were two goals in her collegiate debut, a 4-1 win over Bellarmine, and three more goals in her second-career game, a 5-1 win over Colgate. She also scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in a 2-0 win over Towson. She ended the month with a flourish, contributing four goals and three assists in a three-game stretch against Drexel, Georgetown and Saint Francis (PA). She was a three-time Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week and twice took NEC Offensive Player of the Week.
