Murray led the men’s basketball team to its first MAAC Semifinal appearance in 10 years with a game-winning floater with seven seconds remaining in the quarterfinals to upset top-seeded and heavily-favored Iona, 71-70, on March 9. He was named to the MAAC All-Tournament Team after averaging 17.3 points, 6.0 assists and 4.7 rebounds per game in the tournament. For the month, Murray led the Broncs to a 3-2 record, including wins over Iona, Monmouth and Manhattan. He averaged 15.6 points, 5.4 assists and 5.4 rebounds per game, while shooting 49.1 percent (28-57) from the floor, 45.0 percent (9-20) from long range and made all 13 of his free-throw attempts. In the span, he had 27 assists to just 12 turnovers, a 2.4 assist-to-turnover ratio.
