Johnson averaged 21 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals per game as the Broncs went 7-1 in MAAC play. It marked the best eight-game start to a season in MAAC play in program history. She shot over 50 percent (58-of-114) from the field and better than 46 percent (21-of-45) from three-point range. Johnson was named the MAAC Player of the Week three times, the College Sports Madness MAAC Player of the Week three times and the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association Division I Player of the Week twice. She led the MAAC in points per game, assists per game and steals per game at the close of January.
