Walsh avenged his lone regular-season loss with a win over Lock Haven’s Chance Marsteller to win the EWL Championship at 165. He then went on to make his fourth-straight NCAA appearance and won his first two bouts. He fell a win shy of his third-straight All-America honor. He finishes his career as Rider’s all-time leader in wins by fall (39), having eclipsed Tim Morrison’s nearly 35-year old record early this season.
