Spencer Leiby joined the Rider sports medicine staff as a staff athletic trainer in August of 2025. Spencer is the primary athletic trainer for the women's volleyball team and the men's and women's indoor and outdoor track and field teams.
Spencer earned his undergraduate education at Rowan University in 2023. Before obtaining his Master's in Athletic Training at Rowan in 2025, his clinical education included working with Rowan's women's soccer team, Lindenwold Highschool, Kingsway Highschool, and UPenn's football team. In his free time he played for Rowan's Men's Rugby team.
Spencer's favorite part of being an athletic trainer is working with all the different student-athletes and getting to travel across the country.
