Paige Frye

Rider University Athletic Director Don Harnum announced the hiring of Paige Frye as the next head coach of the women’s lacrosse program in January of 2026.

"We are excited to have Paige lead our team as we continue to build a competitive women's lacrosse program,” said Harnum. “She has had successful experiences as both a player and a coach that will be beneficial to both our current and future student-athletes."

Frye comes to Lawrenceville following three seasons at the University of Scranton, where Frye helped the Royals claim the Landmark Conference Championship in each of her three seasons, and First Round NCAA Tournament victories in both 2024 and 2025.

"I am honored and grateful to be named the new head coach of the Rider Women’s Lacrosse program,” said Frye. “I would like to thank Don Harnum, Karin Torchia, and the entire search committee for this incredible opportunity. This program is built on such a strong foundation, and I look forward to getting to work with these talented student-athletes to continue building success on field, in the classroom, and in the community.”

During her time with the Royals, she coached eight All-Region players and 11 All-Conference honorees, while being named as a member of the 2025 Landmark Conference Coaching Staff of the Year.

Frye played collegiately at FDU-Florham, where she helped the team reach the NCAA Tournament in 2021 and the MAC Tournament Championship in 2022.
