Norm Yacko was hired as Assistant Sports Communications Director in May of 2021. He most recently worked as the Sports Information Specialist at The College of New Jersey.
While at TCNJ, Yacko was responsible for coverage of several ranked programs including the field hockey, women's lacrosse, and wrestling teams. During his time at TCNJ, he was responsible for coverage of numerous final four teams and an individual National Champion (wrestler Ryan Budzek). He secured coverage for a pair of athletes featured in Sports Illustrated's Faces in the Crowd.
During his time in the industry, Yacko has been responsible in some capacity of media relations for 23 different NCAA Events ranging from NCAA Division III Final Fours to NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Regionals.
Yacko earned his bachelor's degree from Rider in 2009.
