Jayson Hyman joined Rider Athletics in July 2025 as Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance & Internal Operations. In this role, he provides strategic oversight of NCAA compliance and internal operations, while playing a key role in supporting the academic success and eligibility of Rider’s student-athletes. Hyman serves as the departmental liaison to the Registrar, Admissions, Financial Aid, Faculty Athletics Representative, and Academic Support Services. He is also the primary sport administrator for several of Rider’s athletic programs, helping to oversee day-to-day operations, competitive success, and student-athlete experience.

Hyman came to Rider after over a decade at Immaculata University, where he most recently served as Assistant Director of Athletics and Head Men’s Basketball Coach. In his administrative role, he played a vital part in managing business operations across the department, including oversight of vendor relationships, contract management, and procurement. He coordinated game scheduling for 23 varsity sports, supervised full- and part-time staff, and led the onboarding process for new coaches and administrators. He also contributed to game operations and department-wide planning efforts.
Hyman holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Sports Management from Immaculata University and a masters degree in public administration from West Chester University. Hyman is currently completing his Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Higher Education, with research focused on improving sense of belonging and academic outcomes for underrepresented student populations in higher education. His leadership is guided by a commitment to equity, inclusion, and holistic student-athlete development.
Jayson resides in Delaware County, Pennsylvania with his wife Libby and 3 children Jayde, Aria and Kai.Â
