Brian Young joined the coaching staff of the Rider University baseball ahead of the start of the 2026 season as a volunteer Assistant Coach.
In his first year with the Broncs, Young was on the Bronc's staff that helped the team win their fifth MAAC Championship while going to the NCAA Gaineville Regional, playing No. 8 Florida and Troy in the Sunshine State. Coaching the pitching staff, Aubin helped the Bronc pitchers to a team ERA of 5.28 with a team WHIP of 1.59, an opponent batting average of .266, and 357 strikeouts. Through Aubin's help, PJ Craig and Charley Magoulick were named to the All-MAAC First Team while Christian Aiello was named to the All-MAAC Second Team. Craig was also named MAAC Tournament MVP while also being named to the Gainesville All-Regional Team.
