Aimee Alt joined Rider as the Assistant Athletic Director for Business Operations in February of 2020 and was elevated to Associate Athletic Director for Business Operations in December of 2023.

In this role, Aimee oversees the budgets for all 20 varsity programs and organizes team travel. She runs the ticketing operations for men’s and women’s basketball and wrestling.  She is also the sport administrator for men’s and women’s swimming and diving.

Prior to Rider, Alt was in a similar role at the College of New Jersey from 2017 – 2020.  She managed the budgets and travel for their 20 programs, a position she transitioned into after a long stint coaching swimming and diving at the NCAA Division I level.

Alt spent 10 seasons as an assistant swimming and diving coach at Fordham University.   She was an integral part of the staff, culminating in the Fordham women's team winning the 2010 Atlantic 10 Championship title, the first postseason title for any women's sport at Fordham. The team was Atlantic 10 runners up in 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2014.  During her time with the Rams, Alt coached a two-time NCAA qualifier (17th place finish in 2013) and an Olympic Trials qualifier (top 20 finisher) as well as a multiyear Open Water Nationals qualifier.  She was recognized by her Fordham peers in receiving the 2011 Jack Coffey Award at the annual Block "F" Dinner, which is given to a Fordham administrator, coach, or alumnus for outstanding contributions and dedication to the athletic program.

Prior to Rose Hill, Alt spent three years working in the investment banking industry at Morgan Stanley after receiving her MBA from Iona College.  During that time, she served as a volunteer assistant coach for the Gaels in 2004-05 and quickly realized her true passion was collegiate athletics.

A 2003 Iona College graduate, Alt earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She was a four-year member of the Gaels' swimming program, earning team MVP honors in 2002 and 2003 as well as the Joseph O'Connell Award as the Iona student-athlete of the year in 2003. Alt, who also played four seasons of water polo at Iona, graduated with school records in the 500, 1000, and 1650 freestyle and the 200 and 400 individual medley and was a member of the school-record setting 200 freestyle and 400 medley relay teams. In the classroom, Alt, received Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) All-Academic honors in swimming three years in a row and was twice named to the All-Academic Collegiate Water Polo Team.

Alt was named to the 40th Anniversary MAAC Team for swimming by the conference office in 2021 and was inducted into Iona’s Athletics Hall of Fame in 2022.

Alt resides in Ewing, NJ with her husband Charlie, son Owen and daughter Adeline.
