Biography

2019-20:
- Posted a 20-14 record as the Broncs’ starter at 125 lbs., including an 8-7 mark in dual matches
- Went 4-2 to finish fourth at MAC Championships
- Began the Broncs’ upset win over No. 6 Minnesota with a decision over Patrick McKee
- Finished third at the Princeton Open
- Placed fifth at the Keystone Open

2018-19:
- Posted a 17-10 record, including a 7-6 mark in dual matches and a 5-1 mark in EWL matches
- Won the 125 weight class at the Keystone Classic
- Finished second at the Princeton Open and third at EWL Championships
- Defeated Penn’s Carmen Ferrante, who finished the year ranked No. 21, 7-3, in the Keystone Classic Championship

2017-18:
- Went 8-4 overall, including one fall
- Finished 2nd at the Princeton Open and 3rd at the Keystone Classic

2016-17:
- Won 11 matches, all in tournament action, including one by fall.

At Saint Joseph’s Montvale High School:
Finished eighth as a sophomore then third as a junior and senior at the New Jersey State Championships…three-time Regional Champion…three-time District Champion…three-time County Champion…also won the Beast of the East.

Personal:
Son of Jason and Rosa Tropea... Criminal Justice and Sociology dual major.
