Rider University Athletics

Jason Lapham begins his first season on the Rider coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach. A 2009 graduate of Rider with a degree in Sociology, Lapham compiled a 45-22 record in two seasons as a Bronc, coming to Rider from Penn State. He was 13-2 in CAA duals, 21-11 in all duals.
 
As a senior captain Lapham finished runner-up at the CAA Championships and won a bout at Nationals. He won his weight class at the Stroudsburg Open, placed second at the Keystone Classic and fourth at the Nittany Lion Tournament.
 
In his first season at Rider Lapham placed third at the CAA Championships, going 3-1 in the CAA Tournament. He placed fourth at the prestigious Midlands Tournament.
 
Before attending Penn State Lapham earned Prep All-American honors at Canterbury Prep after placing third at U. S. National Open. He was a four-time New York State Place winner while at Beekmantown High and a four-time District Champion.
