Jason Nase of Howell returns for his fourth season as a part-time assistant coach of the Rider University wrestling team.

"We are very excited to have former All-American Jason Nase working with the Rider wrestling program," said Rider head coach Gary Taylor. "Jason possesses a strong passion for the sport and for Rider University. Having Coach Nase with us is an important step in the right direction for our program as he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that benefits our student athletes."

A 1997 graduate of Rider, Nase was inducted into the Rider Athletics Hall of Fame in 2007. Nase earned All-America honors at Rider and was one of the first four Broncs to compile 100 career wins.

A 1992 graduate of Point Pleasant Boro High School, Nase is a social studies teacher at Wall Township High School and was the head wrestling coach at Wall before coming to Rider.

"I am really pleased to be coaching at Rider," Nase said. "This University has done so much for me. I am look forward to helping Rider wrestling continue to win on the national level. Working with my former coaches is what really makes this special for me. Coach Taylor and Coach Hangey have made a huge impact on my life and my wrestling career. I am excited to be working with our student-athletes and helping them achieve their academic and athletic goals."
