Former Bronc Andrew Reca returned to Rider as an assistant coach prior to the 2020-21 season. Reca also serves as Associate Director, Major Gifts at Rider.

The 2025-26 season capped off an excellent campaign for the Broncs as the team went on to win the MAC East Title and the MAC Championship Title, with Tyler Klinsky earning All-American honors at NCAA's in the 125-pound weight class. Klinsky became the program's 22nd NCAA All-American and the 11th in the last 12 seasons. All together, five Broncs were sent to NCAA's in Cleveland, with Klinsky, Will Betancourt, Elijah Griffin, Dylan Layton, and Brock Zurawski all earning spots at championships.

It was another strong season for the Broncs in 2024-25, earning a dual meet win over 24th-ranked Maryland during the regular season before taking fifth at the MAC Championships behind four individual champions. At the NCAA Championships, Sammy Alvarez took seventh to earn All-America honors.

The Broncs secured a second-straight MAC East Division Dual Meet Championship in 2023-24 with a perfect 8-0 mark in conference duals. Quinn Kinner earned All-America honors with an 8th-place finish at the NCAA Championships.

Reca wrestled three years for the Broncs after transferring from Lycoming College. At Robbinsville High School, Reca was a First-Team All-County selection.

"Andrew is a great addition to our coaching staff and culture,” said Rider Head Coach John Hangey. “He is a product of our program and truly understands what it takes to be successful at Rider. Since Graduation, he has advanced his knowledge in the areas of strength training and conditioning along with coaching wrestling at Wall High School that will bring true value to our program and student-athletes."
