Rider University Athletics

At Rider:
Radio and Television major...played in 17 games last year, starting 11 at back or midfield...now a veteran of 27 Rider games and 38 college games after coming to Rider from Jacksonville State.

At Jacksonville State:
In 2011, appeared in 11 games, making one start as a freshman, playing 356 minutes and recording one shot on goal.

High School:
From Portsmouth, England...began playing soccer at the age of six, playing for her local boys' team; Meon Milton FC. At the age of 11, she was asked to attend the Southampton Ladies FC Centre of Excellence, where she captained the side. She also played and captained Portsmouth FC Ladies, leading them to the League and Cup double in her first season. During this time she represented England in the Danone Nations Soccer Cup in Paris, France. From 2004 to 2006, Daisy remained at both the Southampton FC Centre of Excellence and Portsmouth FC Ladies, leading both clubs to numerous league and cup successes.  She helped the Hampshire u18s County Representative squad become the South West Champions for two straight seasons. She also made the decision to move to the prestigious Filton College Women's Soccer Academy in Bristol. In her first year at Filton, she led the team to become the National League Champions, English Colleges FA Cup Winners, English Schools Cup Winners, National 5-a side Cup Winners & National Cup Runners-up. During this season Daisy managed to break through to represent the Bristol Academy (English Women's Premier League) Reserve squad.  In 2009-10, Allen captained Filton College to further cup and league successes, she also became a regular member of the Bristol Academy Reserve team squad and made several First X1 appearances against; Arsenal Ladies, Chelsea Ladies, Doncaster Belles and Sunderland Ladies. She was also selected to represent the England Colleges National squad against; Estonia, Finland & Australia.  Recently, Daisy has again captained both the Filton College & Bristol Academy Reserve team squads. She has also once again been selected to represent England Colleges National squad.  A talented athlete off the pitch, Allen participated in swimming where she holds the records in the breaststroke and earned a spot in the national meet. She is the holder of the FA Level 1 Coaching award and the Junior Sports Leader Award.
