Following a five-year Rider playing career, Karaigh Tait '23 joined Head Coach Drayson Hounsome's staff prior to the 2024 season.
“Karagh has been part of our program for five years as a player, so it is really nice for her to stay onboard and transition into a new role with us while she completes her graduate studies,” said Hounsome. “The current players have the utmost respect for Karagh and it is going to be really beneficial to our success having her on the sideline.”
Tait was a five-year contributor in the Rider midfield, starting 34 of 73 games played for the Broncs. She contributed four assists, including two each in 2019 and 2022. Tait played at least 90 minutes 21 times over her final three seasons. A 2023 graduate with a degree in biology, she’s excelled in the classroom, earning Academic All-MAAC four times.
