2019-20
- Placed 4^th in the weight throw at MAAC Indoor Championships
- Set a PR of 18.05m in the weight throw at IC4A Indoor Championships
- Finished 2^nd in the weight throw at the Princeton New Year’s Invitational
- Took 2^nd in the weight throw at the Spartan Invite
- Finished 4^th at the NYC Gotham Cup
- Posted a then-season-best weight throw of 17.60m to take 18^th at the Penn State National Open
- Finished 3^rd at the UAlbany Winter Classic
- MAAC All-Academic Team honoree

2018-19
- Named to the MAAC All-Academic team.
- Finished seventh in the hammer throw at the MAAC Outdoor Championships.
- Posted a collegiate-best mark of 37.05m in the discus throw at the Rider 5-Way Meet.
- Posted a collegiate-best mark of 50.53m in the hammer throw at the Penn Challenge.
- Finished ninth in the weight throw at the MAAC Indoor Championships. 

2017-18
- Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team.
- Finished fourth in the hammer throw at the Lions Invitational with a college-best toss of 47.46m.
- Came in sixth in the shot put and third in the hammer throw at the Rider Invitational.

2016-17
- Finished fifth in the shot put at the Spartan Regional Invite.
- Came in 13th in the shot put at the MAAC Indoor Championships with a toss of 12.50m.
- Set a new PR in the shot put with a toss of 13.16m (43’2.25”) at the Spartan Regional Invite.
- Finished 12th in the hammer throw at the MAAC Outdoor Championships.
- Set a new PR in the discus throw with a mark of 27.89m at the Rider Invitational.
- Threw a college-best 40.42m in the hammer throw at the MAAC Outdoor Championships.  

Before Rider
Lettered in indoor track and outdoor track as a senior at Mater Dei Prep after earning three varsity letters each for indoor and outdoor track at Cardinal McCarrick…earned Player of the Year honors for indoor track as a senior…team captain as a senior…best shot put distance was 48’4” and discus was 105’2” and qualified for the Meet of Championships in the shot put in 2016…Most Improved for indoor track as a junior…and was the outdoor track MVP in 2014-15…owns the Cardinal McCarrick shot put record…four years on the academic honor roll…Ellen Cunningham Scholarship.

Personal
Majoring in Communication (Digital Media/Film)…hobbies include video games and weight lifting…plays the guitar and piano…son of Scott and Marianne Poetsch.
