Devin Bradham joined Rider Track & Field as an assistant coach in March 2021. Bradham graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2019, where he competed as a high jumper. Bradham was a Penn State Track & Field Coaches Award Winner and led the Nittany Lions to their first-ever Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship.
Upon graduation, Bradham became the founder and head coach of Jump Start Coaching, a business specializing in high jump training. As a certified high jump specialist, Bradham has been able to successfully equip athletes with the necessary skills and technique to improve their overall height. Before joining the collegiate coaching ranks, Bradham was also a high school jumps coach for Paul VI.
Bradham holds certifications for USTFCCCA Technical Coaching, ALTIS High Jump Specialist & Horizontal Jumps Specialist, with all certifications specializing in the horizontal and vertical jumps.
“After speaking with Devin, we knew he was someone we wanted on this staff and we feel that he has a tremendous amount to offer our student athletes in the high jump, long jump and triple jump,” said Hamer. “His passion and excitement for coaching is evident and we are really excited to see what he can accomplish with the jumps group."
