Biography
At Rider:
As a rookie, was third in the 200 IM (2:08.40), fifth in the 200 free
(1:49.95) and sixth in the 200 back (2:08.16) in Rider’s dual meet against
UMBC...was also part of the 400 free relay that finished second against the
Retrievers...at the 2008 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championships, was
13th in the 500 free (4:48.97), 16th in the 200 free
(1:46.82) and 18th in the 1650 free.
At Fallston High School:
A two-time All-County
swimmer...two-time Scholastic All-American...led his team to the State
Championship as a senior...was part of the record setting relay team that that
won the County, Regional and State Championship...placed second in Maryland in
the 200 free...member of the Distinguished honor roll...a surfer...Personal: son
of Pete and Debbie Sakell.
