Biography
At Rider:
As a rookie, placed fourth at the 2008 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championships in the 50 free (21.05) and the 100 free (46.46)...was 11th in the 50 free (21.17) and 16th in the 100 free (48.71) at the 2008 Eastern College Athletic Conference championships...helped Rider defeat MAAC rival Marist, winning the 50 free (21.62)...also won the 50 free (21.58) helping the Broncs defeat Lehigh...in Rider’s MAAC win at Loyola won the 50 free (21.62) and 100 free (47.72).
At Hauppauge High School:
Earned All-America honors in the 50 free...placed second in the state of New York in 50 free and 100 free...was his high school’s Athlete of the Year....two-time team MVP...compiled perfect attendance in high school...a member of the academic honor roll...Personal: son of Barry and Dawn Modrov...brother of Rider grad Brandon and current Bronc senior swimmer Priscilla.
