At Rider:
Team captain...General Business major...as a junior, finished 13th in the 1650 free (17:09.63) at the 2009 MAAC championships...at the 2009 ECAC championships, placed 27th in the 1650 free...as a sophomore at the 2008 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championships, placed 12th in the 1650 free (16:51.32) and 16th in the 500 free (4:51.88)...won the 100 breast (1:01.30) as the Broncs defeated Lafayette...as a freshman, placed fifth in both the 1000 free (10:00.48) and the 1650 free (16:48.78) at the 2007 MAAC's...at the 2007 Eastern College Athletic Conference championships was part of the 800 free relay that finished 10th (7:09.46)...also placed seventh in the 1650 free.
At Suburban High School:
Was team captain and a four-year letterwinner in both swimming and soccer...Personal: son of Paul and Wendy Grubbs, has a brother Andrew and sister Mackenzie.
