Before Rider:
Earned Albuquerque Academy Female Athlete of the Year, District Player of the Year and First Team All-Metro Utility, hitting .615 with nine home runs and 55 RBI’s as a senior… Collected 163 hits and 640 strikeouts in her high school career… Second Team All-State as a pitcher in 2023… Five-time First Team All-District and two-time Academic All-District in softball… Also earned Second Team All-District and was a two-time Academic All-District honoree in basketball… Played club for the New Mexico Suncats and earned Alliance Fastpitch All-Star Team honors.

Personal:
Daughter of Cathi and Gary Purcella… A health sciences major… Has two older siblings – brother, Derek, and sister, Ashley… Brother, Derek, played baseball at the University of Texas at Dallas.
