- Won a bronze medal and a third-place finish in the shot put at the MAAC Outdoor Championships with a throw of 16.50m.
- Won the shot put at the Lions Invitational with a collegiate-best toss of 16.65m.
- Came in 12th in the shot put at the MAAC Indoor Championships with a throw of 15.11m.
BEFORE RIDER
Was a two-year letter winner in indoor track and field and a three-year letter winner at Brick Memorial High School…During the indoor season, he competed in the shot put…he earned All-County honors as a junior…in outdoor season, he earned All-County honors as a sophomore and a senior...he also received All-State honors as a senior…as a senior he placed third at the state championship meeting with a throw of 59’4.5”.
PERSONAL
Majoring in Healthcare Management…son of Helen Elizabeth and Al Maid…hobbies include bass fishing, lifting weights, listening to music and having fun with friends…has one brother and one sister.
