2018-19:
- MAAC All-Academic Team honoree
- Played primarily in doubles, where he earned four victories – three with Griffin Clark at No. 2
- Also won a doubles match with Nicholas Salazar at No. 3

2017-18:
- Won one singles match in tournament play in the fall
- Also won two doubles matches with Griffin Clark, including one in a dual match at No. 3
- Missed the spring season due to injury

2016-17:
- Played in all nine matches as a sophomore.
- Won two doubles matches against Lafayette and Saint Francis Brooklyn.

2015-16:
- As a Rider rookie, won a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference match in three sets at Siena.
- Also won in straight sets against St. Francis Brooklyn and at MAAC-rival Niagara.
- Won in doubles play at Temple, at Siena, against Loyola Maryland and at Saint Peter’s.

At Southern Regional High School:
Four-year letterwinner at first singles…team captain and team MVP…second all-time for varsity wins with 73…finished in second place as a sophomore and junior in the Ocean County Tournament and placed third as a senior…National Honor Society and National World Language Honor Society…two years on the academic honor roll…hobbies include basketball…personal: son of John and Donna Gildea, younger sisters Sarah and Emma.
