Biography

A veteran of 58 games, including nine starts...used primarily as a pinch hitter the last two seasons but will see action at first base this year...had two hits in a pair of wins at Cleveland State last season...had an RBI in a MAAC game against Fairfield...had a pinch hit RBI single at Appalachian State in 2010...hit a two-run home run in 2010 win over Manhattan...had two hits in three at bats with an RBI, two walks and scored a run at Fairfield in 2010...batted .333 against MAAC pitchers in 2010 with a .667 slugging percentage...played in 21 games in 2009, starting two, after red-shirting 2008 with a knee injury...batted .333 in MAAC games in 2009...collected a hit in his first collegiate at bat, at Maryland Eastern Shore and in his final at bat of 2009, against Canisius in the MAAC tournament...hit a pinch hit RBI single off the right field fence with bases loaded for the walk-off game-winning hit against Fairfield... hit a pinch hit RBI double in the ninth inning against Canisius in 2009, sending the game into extra innings...graduated from Steinert High with a career batting average of .460, highest in school history...played for two State Championship teams, at Steinert and in American Legion during the summer...graduated with a Computer Information Systems major and now working on MBA.
